Job Title: Content Editor

Supervisor: Manager of Customer Education

Department: Customer Success

Salary Range: 60k – 75k base salary, based on qualifications and experience (Plus additional targeted bonus)

Location: Remote - Preferred States: Arizona, Arkansas, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Washington, West Virginia, and Wisconsin.

Job Summary:

The Content Editor ensures that training content is designed and delivered in a thoughtful way to provide the best experience to TraceGains learners. As the audience continues to grow, content should be up to date, engaging, and reflect the core values of the company. Content should be scalable and provide self-sufficiency to the audience increasing product adoption. This role will work directly with a variety of subject matter experts, both internal and external, putting great emphasis on their ability to communicate effectively and maintain collaborative relationships. If you are a creative, forward-thinking individual with experience and passion for using digital media as a platform for designing learning experiences then this is the role for you.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain the education content including, but not limited to, articles, courses, videos, and webinars.
  • Identify and collaborate with TraceGains product experts on an ongoing basis.
  • Collaborate with other members of the Education team to ensure effective stewardship of the TraceGains Academy.
  • Implement help content and training strategy to reduce support inquires and facilitate a “self-help” model for users.
  • Execute effective time management and leadership skills.
  • Maintain ongoing awareness of the TraceGains product roadmap.
  • Translate technical information into clear, readable documents to be used by both technical and non-technical personnel.
  • Balance brand voice with international writing guidelines
  • Work with current visual and writing style guides to ensure a consistent look and voice in all content.
  • Create and review written materials aligned with education team projects such as scripts for video, project summaries, announcements, reports, etc.
  • Research and develop document management best practices using knowledge from global technical communication standards
  • Develop and lead virtual trainings in a live format.
  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Arts degree desired in Curriculum Development, eLearning Development, or a related field.
  • Proven ability to manage positive relationships with subject matter experts.
  • Excellent public speaking and group facilitation skills.
  • Self-starter attitude, capable of working independently in a remote work environment.
  • Experience building engaging and aesthetically pleasing learning content.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects with deadlines.
  • Food & Beverage and Supplements industry experience a plus, but not required.
  • Ability to be a positive team player, willing to grow and change.
  • Occasional travel required for department meetings, all company events, in-person seminars/networking events, etc.
