TRABUS is a dynamic, forward-thinking business ready to engage in and overcome our customers’ challenges.SUMMARY:TRABUS is looking for a Consolidated Afloat Network Enterprise System (CANES) Integration Software Engineer to join our team in San Diego, CA. Your primary function will be to provide Software development services to the Joint Warning and Reporting Network (JWARN) and the Joint Effects Model (JEM) for the US Army’s Joint Program Manager-Information Systems (JPM-IS). The position will provide direct CANES and JWARN software integration support. As a CANES Software Integration Engineer, you will interact daily with government program managers and industry subject matter experts across multiple military branches (US Army and US Navy) to assist the government with technical assessments and integration, software development, strategic planning, and engineering evaluations. TRABUS isn’t looking for someone who will simply go through the motions, but someone willing to go beyond expectations, do something important, and make a true difference.RESPONSIBILITIES:

Work on Data Visualizations and data visualization frameworks including maps and dashboards.
Develop automated delivery of software applications for JWARN “marketplace”.
Assist in the development of Agile Core Services (ACS) Systems Management Framework including automation, logging, and monitoring
Assist in developing appropriate Security Management for authentication and authorization for use in the ACS framework
Utilizing JBoss and OpenShift, assist in developing a mediation framework for Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) conversion
Assist and sustain Platform as a Service (PaaS) and the hosting and management of server-side applications
Assist in the development of a ingress and egress data flow management framework in order to automate the movement of data from disparate sources

REQUIREMENTS:

Have experience with Agile Core Services (ACS) and the US Navy’s Overmatch Software Armory (OSA)
Have experience with Containers and related technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
Have experience working with Artifactory, Maven and GIT for software repositories
Experience with Java (Java 11 in particular), Javascript, and Cascading Style Sheets (CSS)
Have experience with Ansible and Gradle for software automation and delivery
Experience with, and a good understanding of, CANES Tech Stack including Kafka

CANDIDATES MUST HAVE:

Minimum three – five (3-5) years’ experience with DoD and interagency organizations
Active DoD Secret clearance to start.
U.S. Citizenship is required for this position

Certification Requirements (desired):

Security
Kafka, Forgerock, JBoss, Docker, or Kubernetes certifications

EDUCATION:

Bachelor's degree in a Computer Systems, Computer Science/Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field Computer/Software development related field.
