JOB DESCRIPTION:
Qualifications

• 8 - 10 years experience maintaining and repairing industrial processing equipment and facilities in a production environment
• 5 years experience reading detailed maintenance literature and applying knowledge to job
• Preference for experience with basic metal fabrication in a maintenance setting.
• Basic Microsoft Office and computer skills, preferred knowledge of UpKeep system.
• Competent with forklift operations
• Ability to stand for up to 7 hours in an 8 hour shift
• Reliably work additional and flexible hours including weekends as needed.
• Ability to lift up to 30-50lbs
• High School Diploma/GED

Skills

• Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot problems with electrical, pneumatic and mechanical systems
• Ability to repair issues once diagnosed or work with appropriate outside vendor to repair
• Safely operate all types of hand tools found in a maintenance environment
• Must demonstrate ability to work safely and independently while following scheduled routine
• Ability to read and understand mechanical prints, AC/DC motors, electrical diagrams and pneumatic diagrams.
• Individual needs excellent teamwork, cooperation, and problem solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for diagnosing, repairing, replacing, and installing plant mechanical, AC/DC motor, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems for all plant equipment. Including machinery maintenance, lubrication, PM’s, trouble shooting, repairing, upgrading, and installations.
• Perform light metal fabrication to support repairs / upgrades of systems.
• Make adjustments on equipment to improve productivity.
• Responsible for initiating, acknowledging, completing, and entering time spent against repeatable (preventative) and reactive maintenance work orders

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $25.00 - $32.00 per hour
