Job Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and dependable Produce Assistant to join our team. As a Produce Assistant, you will be responsible for ensuring the produce section is well-stocked, clean, and organized. This is a full-time position with opportunities for growth within our company.
Duties:
- Clean and maintain the produce sections of the cooler and dock areas
- Package and label fruits and vegetables according to company standards. Finish making eaches and label accordingly.
- Stock bins with fresh produce, ensuring proper rotation of products and help finish receiving and quality checks.
- Utilize an RF scanner to track inventory levels and monitor product expiration dates
- Collaborate with supervisors and co-workers on maintaining quality produce.
-Complete any other tasks assigned by your direct supervisor
- Must be able to bend, stand for periods of time and lift items over 50 lbs.
Skills:
- Ability to clean, package, and stock produce items efficiently
Shift time: 10 am - 7 pm Monday through Friday and every other Sunday.
Rotate working every other Sunday with the other Produce Assistant to complete the required full quality/date check of produce.
