Job Summary: We are seeking a Remote Junior Territory Manager with one year of experience to oversee sales and business development activities for our pharmacy's infusion and hospice services within a designated geographic area. This role offers a combination of remote work and travel, with up to 90% of the time spent on field visits within the assigned territory. The Junior Territory Manager will play a key role in building relationships with healthcare facilities, driving sales growth, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality pharmacy services. The ideal candidate will have some experience in pharmaceutical sales, strong communication skills, and the ability to effectively manage remote interactions with clients while also conducting periodic in-person meetings.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a territory sales plan to achieve sales targets and increase market share for infusion and hospice services, utilizing a combination of remote and in-person sales techniques.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders at healthcare facilities, including hospitals, clinics, long-term care facilities, and hospice organizations, through remote communication channels and periodic field visits.
  • Conduct regular virtual and in-person sales visits to healthcare providers to promote our pharmacy's infusion and hospice services, identifying opportunities to address their specific needs and requirements.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including sales representatives, pharmacists, clinical staff, and operations, to ensure seamless delivery of services and exceptional customer satisfaction.
  • Provide support to the sales team within the territory, assisting with setting sales objectives, providing training and development opportunities, and evaluating performance.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for business growth and improvement of service offerings.
  • Develop and implement strategic initiatives to expand the pharmacy's presence in the territory, including new customer acquisition and territory expansion efforts.
  • Prepare and present sales proposals, contracts, and pricing agreements to prospective clients, negotiating terms and conditions to secure new business.
  • Monitor sales performance metrics, track progress against goals, and prepare regular reports for management review, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
  • Represent the company at industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to enhance brand awareness and foster relationships with key stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Pharmacy, or related field (preferred).
  • Minimum of one year of experience in pharmaceutical sales or a related field.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with healthcare professionals and key stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote work environment.
  • In-depth knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance standards related to pharmacy services in the infusion and hospice sectors.
  • Proficiency in virtual communication tools, including video conferencing platforms and CRM software for sales tracking.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel up to 90% of the time within the designated territory.
