Toyota Knoxville is looking for a Part-time, Overnight Security Guard to provide a safe environment for all employees and customers and ensure the security of all vehicles in the dealership. The ideal candidate must be over 21 years of age and military or law enforcement veterans are welcome to apply. Security Guard - Job Responsibilities:
- Patrol premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion and ensure security of doors, windows, and gates.
- Answer alarms and investigate disturbances.
- Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to guard against theft and maintain security of premises.
- Call police or fire departments in cases of emergency, such as fire or presence of unauthorized persons.
- Warn persons of rule infractions or violations, and apprehend or evict violators from premises, using force when necessary.
- Perform all other job-related duties as assigned
Security Guard - Requirements:
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Demonstrate excellent interpersonal communication skills
- Proficient in English both verbally and written
- Experience is preferred but not required
- Able to perform physical activities such as running, lifting, and bending
