Primary Objective : Product flow, quality of parts being produced by operators, and a safe working environment. Major Responsibilities :

• Responsible for attaining efficiency targets (work with equipment and die maintenance on countermeasures to prevent reoccurrence).
• Planning for successful die changes (less than 5 minutes) and coil changes (less than 3 minutes).
• Maintaining Kanban system on two presses.
• Work with supervisor to determine countermeasures for internal and external rejects.
• Organization and cleanliness for two presses and surrounding area.
• Responsible for following TBTN's standard work procedures, safety, quality, and productivity.
• Must be able to provide training on all equipment to include safety, quality, product flow, and processes.
• Responsible for performing PM equipment checks.
• Responsible for controlling production volume.
• Work with little or no direct supervision.
• Ensure operators receive breaks.
• Responsible for Operator's activities during production. Qualification and Experience :
• Will have experience with metal stamping presses.
• Experience as a set-up operator
• Experience and accuracy with precision measuring instruments is a must.
• Must have a basic mathematical aptitude.
• Computer experience, specifically : Office 2000 software (Excel, Word, etc.).
• Qualified person must be able to work with a minimum of direct supervision.
• Overhead crane experience helpful. Physical Activity :
• Lifting up to 33 lbs.
• Walking / Standing long periods
• Bending
• Material handling of steel components, both physically and using pallet jack equipment, forklifts and overhead crane.
