TownePlace Suites is currently searching for a Housekeeping Room Attendant to join our team located in Chesterfield, MO. This person will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness of the hotel to brand, company and guest satisfaction.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Cleans guest rooms and guest areas, including: making beds; dusting and vacuuming; cleaning bathroom; replacing supplies
• Utilizes chemicals according to directions and familiarizes self with all material safety data sheets
• Maintains a stocked, organized, and clean cart with sufficient supplies
• Reports maintenance issues through appropriate channels for resolution
• Communicates with guest on a professional and friendly manner
• Keeps supplies ready by restocking housekeeping cart at end of shift

This job requires the ability to do the following:

• Carrying or lifting items weighing up to 20 pounds and ability to push/pull medium to large weights/objects.
• Frequently standing up and moving about the facility.
• Frequently handling objects and equipment to maintain the facility.
• Frequently bending, stooping, and kneeling.
• Able to work alone as well as being a team member
