We are seeking individuals with a desire to work with people to join our hotel and assist with one of the most important parts of the guests stay, the cleanliness of their room and hotel.

Previous hotel experience is a plus, but not required.

**Must have ability to work weekends and holidays and reliable transportation.

Requires strong command of the English language to include speaking, reading and writing

Ability to learn quickly and work in fast paced position with guest interaction

Must be able to multi-task, ability to lift, pull, and push moderate weight (minimum of 10lbs)

Must be 21 years or older.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Housekeeper is responsible for cleaning and maintaining guest rooms, hallways, furnishings, flooring and work areas. Cleaning rooms includes duties such as changing bed linens and emptying trash as well as vacuuming carpets, cleaning windows and dusting furniture.

The Housekeeper replaces guest supplies, i.e. soap, shampoo, bathroom tissue, etc. and maintains all staff closets. Duties also include cleaning the common areas, stairwells, elevators and landings.

The Housekeeper must report all safety and maintenance concerns to your manager, supervisor, or Front Desk on duty.

The Housekeeper must report any maintenance issues to Engineering, your manager, supervisor, and/or Front Desk on duty.

Secondary duties may include washing guest room linens, assisting with guest requests, assisting with guest luggage.

All team members must ensure the confidentiality and security of all guest rooms.

The Housekeeper is responsible for executing any reasonable task requested by his/her manager or supervisor.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $12.00 - $13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24 – 32 per week
