Job Summary:
We are seeking a friendly and professional Front Desk Agent to join our team. As a Front Desk Agent, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive experience from check-in to check-out. This position is ideal for individuals with excellent communication skills and a passion for hospitality. All applicants must be flexible to work all shifts including overnight. Marriott experience is highly preferred.

Duties:
- Greet guests upon arrival and provide them with information about hotel amenities, services, and local attractions
- Check guests in and out, ensuring accuracy of information and timely processing
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints in a prompt and courteous manner
- Assist with reservations, cancellations, and modifications
- Maintain accurate records of guest accounts, payments, and transactions
- Handle cash transactions and maintain a balanced cash drawer
- Answer phone calls and direct them to the appropriate department or staff member
- Assist with night audit duties as needed

Experience:
- Previous experience in a front desk or guest service role preferred
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations professionally
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Familiarity with hotel operations and hospitality management software is an asset
- Knowledge of phone systems and basic computer skills
