Hotel Housekeeper
Duties:
- Perform a variety of cleaning activities such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and polishing
- Ensure all rooms are cared for and inspected according to hotel standards
- Make beds and change linens as required
- Clean and sanitize bathrooms and replenish supplies
- Vacuum carpets and rugs
- Empty trash containers and dispose of waste properly
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor
- Respond to guest requests in a timely and professional manner
- Maintain a high level of cleanliness and organization in all areas of the hotel
Experience:
- Previous experience in industrial cleaning, housekeeping management, or custodial work is preferred
- Knowledge of floor care techniques and equipment is a plus
- Familiarity with hotel housekeeping procedures is an advantage
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
Skills:
- Excellent cleaning skills with the ability to follow instructions and work efficiently
- Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and use of cleaning chemicals
- Ability to handle physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for long periods of time
- Good communication skills to interact with guests and team members
