Responsible for answering, processing, and providing emergency and non-emergency assistance over 9-1-1, Phone and Radio. dispatches police, fire, and ambulance service units. Must differentiate between routine, priority, and emergency calls for service. Provides Emergency Medical Dispatch Assistance directly to callers in distress. Exceptional Communications Skills required. Must be able to relay specific details of a situation to responders in the field. Must be able to work in an exciting and fast paced environment. Possess the ability to multi-task. Able to work independently and as part of a team within established procedure. Must be able to gain proficiency in multiple competencies, to include State required certifications.

- EMT experience preferred
- Familiarity with GIS software
- Ability to handle phone triage
