Position Title: Parks & Grounds Tech I and Tech II: Irrigation and Backflow

Position Type: Full Time

Annual Pay Range: $29,305 - $46,154

Note: Candidates with irrigation and backflow experience will be paid higher than the minimum.

This employee is the designated lead on the town's irrigation systems and backflow devices, completing required work, including emergency repairs and preventive maintenance. This role is not something that’s required on a full-time basis, so this employee also serves as a parks and grounds tech working alongside other techs. Duties that are part of this function include preparing parks, ball fields, cemeteries, and landscaped outdoor public spaces for the safe and appealing enjoyment of the community. All tasks require the use of manual tools, powered and hand tools, and light mechanical equipment generally associated with grounds and athletic field maintenance and preparation for competition.
