The Town of Lunenburg seeks qualified applicants for the Seasonal Cemetery Laborer position.

Working under the direct supervision of the Cemetery Superintendent, this position performs a variety of un-skilled labor duties and operations of the grounds maintenance of Town cemeteries. May be assigned to other Town facilities. Day to day work is performed with a high degree of independence. Most work is performed outdoors and at multiple locations under a variety of weather conditions. Operates power equipment, such as dump truck, lawn mowers, string trimmers, chainsaws, leaf blowers and other grounds maintenance equipment.

High school diploma or equivalent, preferred. 2 years’ related landscape maintenance or landscape construction experience. Or any combination of training and experience so as to demonstrate possession of the required knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the work. Must have and maintain valid Massachusetts Motor Vehicle License and be 18 years of age or older. Full job description available on the Town website.
