The Town of Holly Springs Parks & Recreation Department is looking for a part-time Park Assistant to serve the public at Bass Lake. 

Responsible for Park operations including customer service, set up and breakdown of the Conference Room, ambassador animal care, boat rentals, concession sales, park maintenance, rental events, etc. Must be willing and able to work flexible hours, weekends, and holidays. Will be exposed to all types of weather and must be able to lift at least 50 lbs. Must be at least 16 years old and pass a background/drug screening test. This position could work up to 25 hours per week based on the needs of the park. The hourly pay rate is $12 an hour.

Minimum Qualifications

All applicants must be at least 16 years old

Able to perform physical outdoor tasks in all types of weather

Able to safely lift 50 lbs. repeatedly during shift

Able to work weekends and holidays

Able to work comfortably in and around water

Able to follow instructions and give directions

Good customer service skills
