DUTIES:

• Assist with the operation of an eight-week field trip-based travel camp for youths ages 12-15.
• Implement and supervise daily activities such as trips, games, sports, crafts, and special recreation events.
• This position will take a leadership role in the planning and implementation of activities at the onsite location.
• This position will be required to drive a 15-passenger van daily to local and regional field trip locations.
• Parent interaction is required with this position.
• Must complete weekly evaluations; other related duties that may apply.

REQUIREMENTS:

• CPR and first aid certifications required.
• Must work full eight-weeks of camp and one-week of training.
• Must enjoy working with children and demonstrate strong customer service skills
• Previous leadership experience preferred. Previous experience working in summer camps or with children highly desirable
• Comfortable in deep water pools, ability to swim 25 yards and tread water desirable.

HOURS:

• Monday-Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm up to 40-hour work week during camp sessions; June 24th - August 2nd, including July 4th.
