General Statement of Duties
Gatekeeping requires employee to check passes and control access to the beaches. Ticket sellers sell day passes and collect fees.
Position is one of public relations in that one is constantly dealing with public.
Job Responsibilities :
It is the individual's responsibility to inform their immediate supervisor as soon as possible, prior to their shift, if they cannot report to work as scheduled.
Personnel are prohibited from possessing, consuming, or using alcohol and / or controlled substances in the workplace. Personnel are prohibited from being under the influence of alcohol and controlled substances in the workplace.
The Town may require an employee to submit to a substance abuse screening if there is reasonable cause to believe that the employee is in violation of the policy.
Qualifications
Must be at least 18 years of age, and be able to work independently with good judgment. Must possess strong customer service skills.
Must posses a proven ability to work efficiently and timely under pressure. Must possess accurate accounting skills and be able to handle cash in accordance with Town policies.
Must possess effective computer skills. Must be willing to work weekends, holidays, and evenings.
