The main function of the Tennis Clerk is to provide customer service to the public regarding tennis court reservations and tennis clinics. Other responsibilities of the Tennis Clerk include, but are not limited to:
Responds to questions via email and phone regarding all aspects of the tennis program and court reservations.
Schedules, records and creates weekly tennis court reservations for tennis pass holders.
Assists Greenwich residents in registering for tennis clinics.
Communicates directly with the Tennis Director and sends weekly court reservation schedule, clinic rosters and clinic attendance sheets.
Contacts clinic participants with program information prior to the start of each clinic.
Works directly with the Tennis Director to provide inclement weather updates.
Takes messages and communicates concerns of the public to the Tennis Director and Recreation Supervisor.
Season: May to August
Hours: Approximately 15 hours per week
Must be at least 18 years of age. Must possess strong computer skills and be able to manage reservations website. Must be able to follow directions, schedules, be organized and interact well with the public, co-workers and supervisors.
