TOWN OF FLORENCE is Hiring a Firefighter Near Florence, AZ

Performs fire suppression duties and medical pre-hospital procedures. Maintains facilities and equipment for maximum efficiency. Performs public service by ensuring safety through inspections and information.

Education and Experience

High school diploma or GED, plus one (1) year experience as a firefighter recruit. Any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience which provides the requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities for this job.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

q Arizona State Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) Certification

q Must have and maintain a valid Arizona Driver’s License

q Department of Public Safety Fingerprint Clearance

q Arizona State Firefighter I and II Certifications

Ability to work schedule required to fulfill duties of position. At times, an individual must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with the ability to handle and prioritize multiple, competing tasks and demands and to seek supervisory assistance as appropriate.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $49,241.00 - $73,862.00 per year
