Town of Burlington is Hiring an Operations Manager Near Burlington, MA
- Plan, organize, direct, control and monitor the policies, priorities and work programs of the divisions
- Develop and oversee division budgets and financial resources
- Oversee weekly payroll, overtime and distribution of time off
- Oversee operations of the construction, reconstruction, maintenance, cleaning and repair of the Town’s critical infrastructure relating to buildings, cemeteries, roadways, sidewalks, traffic systems, water and sewer, motor vehicle equipment and storm drainage systems
- Manage the use of resources to maintain the Town’s public rights of way in a state of good repair and safe passage
- Manage and oversee the Town’s winter storm operations; extended hours for winter storms and emergency events required
- Bachelor’s Degree in engineering, business, public administration, or related field
- Minimum 10 years of responsible municipal experience, 5 of which in senior management
- Conversant and knowledgeable of DPW practices and procedures
- Excellent administrative, management, organizational, communication, and customer service skills
- Valid driver’s license
- Registered as a Licensed Professional Engineer in the State of Massachusetts is desirable but not required
