The Town of Brookline is seeking a full-time HVAC technician to perform skilled maintenance of HVAC equipment in Town facilities, including the service and installation of HVAC equipment and associated automatic temperature controllers, facility management systems and their components. Testing and troubleshooting of HVAC equipment such as package chillers, package AC units, split multi-stage AC units, ductless units, air handling units, and boilers, as well as all software related field controllers using a laptop and other software tools. Performs preventative maintenance, including maintaining database records for equipment maintenance and repair/parts replacement.
Qualifications:
HS plus additional training and experience in the maintenance of large H&V Units / Air Handling Units; Rooftop package HVAC units; Exhaust Fans; Split System AC Units; Class Room Unit Ventilators; Fan Coil Units and similar equipment.

Starting salary: $35.60 per hour plus generous leave time, health and dental insurance benefits, 12 paid holidays, 2 weeks’ vacation to start, up to 7 personal days, 15 paid sick days, pension system and excellent working conditions. Includes tools, uniform and additional annual cash allowance of $600.
