Town Hall is Hiring a Maintenance Technician Near Lula, MS
Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for helping us make the Town better.
Duties For The Town of Lula Ms:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as cutting the grass, optimizing the town, reading the meters, bleeding the fire hydrant, doing the water cut off and checking the water well
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with machinery, electrical systems, and other equipment
- Repair or replace faulty components using hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments
- Follow maintenance schedules and ensure timely completion of tasks
- Provide excellent customer service
- Must have a Valid Driver License
Experience:
- Proven experience in maintenance or related field
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, mechanical systems, and general maintenance practices
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics
- Proficient in welding or fabrication techniques
- Familiarity with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS)
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues
- Demonstrated leadership abilities in supervising maintenance activities
