Job Description
Town & Country Early Learning Center is looking for teachers. Two new toddler teachers would be responsible for 8 children 12-36 months old. toddler classrooms are also staffed with an assistant teacher n each room. One new preschool teacher would be responsible for his/her/their own classroom of 10 children ages 3-5 years.
Experience working in a NAEYC accredited program preferred. Applicants must be interested in supporting our mission to provide a nurturing, educational, and secure environment for young children.
Teacher Responsibilities Include:
>Supervises and educates 8-10 children
>Works cooperatively with T&C teaching team
>Maintains Office of Early Childhood and AAEYC standards
>Provides effective classroom management
>Communicates daily with parents
>Interacts with children in a respectful, supportive manner
>Plans and implements curriculum and classroom activities
>Prepares and conducts parent/teacher conferences
>Demonstrates professionalism, dependability, and punctuality
>40 hour work week, 9am to 6pm with a one -hour lunch break
Teacher Qualification Include:
>Teachers must hold a BA/BS in ECE or a related field with at least 12 ECE credits
>Must be 18 years or older
>Experience working in a NAEYC accredited program preferred
