Town & Country Animal Clinic in Granbury, TX is looking for one veterinary assistant/ technician to join our team. Our ideal candidate is a problem solver, motivated, and engaged.

Position Summary:

As a Veterinary Assistant/Technician, you will play a crucial role in supporting our veterinarian and ensuring the smooth operation of our clinic. You’ll work closely with our team to provide exceptional care to animals, assist with procedures, and maintain a clean and organized environment.

Responsibilities:

*Assist our veterinarian during examinations, surgeries, and treatments *Handle and restrain animals as needed *Prepare and sterilize surgical instruments *Administer medications and vaccinations *Perform laboratory tests (bloodwork, urinalysis, etc.) *Maintain accurate records and update patient files *Provide compassionate support to pet owners *Keep treatment areas and equipment clean and sanitized

Qualifications:

*Previous experience in a veterinary setting preferred *Strong communication skills and empathy for animals *Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment *Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills *Comfortable handling animals of various sizes and temperaments
