Tower Federal Credit Union is Hiring a TWM Operations Administrator Near Laurel, MD

Note: All full-time positions include the option of $0 out-of-pocket premium cost for Employee Only PPO AND exceptionally low premiums for all other PPO coverage levels.

Tower is offering a $1000 Signing/Retaining bonus as of 1/20/2023.

Hours: Monday - Friday 8:30am-5:00pm

The Operations Administrator is the initial primary department contact for all potential, new, and existing members. The position will be responsible for the overall administration of the TWM referral process, including all applicable procedures, documentation, tracking, training and reporting functionality.

The Operations Administrator is the initial primary department contact for the TWM member relationship management platform (Salesforce). In this capacity, the position will be responsible for the overall administration of the Salesforce platform, including all applicable procedures, documentation, tracking, training, reporting functionality, end-user enhancements and annual budgeting recommendations.

The position will perform, as needed, other departmental support services to include a wide variety of administrative duties, including system data entry and information retrieval, as needed to support member service duties, ensuring compliance with Federal, State and Industry regulatory statutes, as well as internal policies and procedures.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES AND FUNCTIONS:

  • The Operations Administrator will develop and enhance the administrative platforms to enhance best practices for Tower Wealth Management staff The incumbent will be contribute to performance review evaluations, handle highly complex administrative issues, serve as a mentor for the Client Services Associates, and reports to and assists the VP with various projects as needed.
  • The Operations Administrator is also responsible for a variety of training, management and leadership functions. The Operations Administrator, along with the VP, will oversee the training of newly hired TWM staff and will assume the lead role in ensuring departmental systems are strategically aligned to provide streamlined operational efficiencies and best-in-class member experiences.
  • Serves as the subject matter expert for TWM technology platforms, to include vendor management, upgrades, maintenance and customization of all systems to ensure TWM operations are efficient and streamlined while providing top-notch member service.
  • Serves as the point of contact for the TWM referral system and Salesforce relationship management platform, to include the management, upgrades, maintenance and customization of all systems to ensure TWM operations are efficient and streamlined while providing top-notch member service.
  • Performs administrative duties to support an outstanding level of member service, where timeliness, accuracy and follow-through are critical ensuring compliance with all TFCU policies and procedures and applicable Federal, State and Industry regulatory statues.
  • Performs comprehensive operations maintenance on all technology platforms; includes accurately maintaining files, logs, and information sources for access by department staff.
  • Researches and resolves operational problems and discrepancies in a professional, timely manner. Makes necessary corrections and resolutions, as appropriate.
  • Provides Notary services when applicable.
  • Completes internal and external forms or documents accurately and completely, ensuring efficient processing of member requests.
  • Performs related duties as assigned.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Possession of an Associate’s Degree in business administration, finance or a related filed.
  • Five years financial services industry experience, as a direct service consultant, advisor and/or team leader or in a sales/service position in a mid-level administrative support role requiring knowledge of the subject matter being supported.
  • Notary public designation.
  • Or, an equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Highly skilled in effective leadership, team building, compliance and risk management, operation policies and procedures, wealth management and financial planning services, performance reporting and delivering exceptional member service.
  • Possess and demonstrate a broad scope of knowledge about products, services, regulations and the overall functions and procedures of the operational departments within Tower Federal Credit Union (TFCU), as well as key third-party providers or business partners.
  • Demonstrates ability to prioritize, organize and handle multiple tasks to successful completion.
  • Proficiency with a PC in an internet and Microsoft Office environment.
  • Ability to speak effectively with confidence and follow detailed instruction.
  • Ability to solve regular, reoccurring problems, and promptly refer complex issues to knowledgeable staff or management following through to satisfactory resolution.
  • Ability to prioritize diverse job assignments and meet established deadlines.
  • Ability to complete concurrent tasks with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work under stress to complete assignments and successfully meet expectations.
  • Ability to create and modify word-processing and spreadsheet documents using formulas and data tools, including graphs.
  • Ability to create relevant and readable graphs, charts, and presentations
  • Ability to find and analyze data from outside sources, validate its accuracy, and draw relevant conclusions

WORKING CONDITIONS:

  • Ability to sit, stand and walk for extended periods and demonstrate sufficient dexterity and vision to operate a variety of office equipment.
  • Ability to lift up to 20 lbs. with or without assistance.
  • Ability to work the hours needed which may extend beyond the defined work schedule when operating conditions dictate.
