Touro University New York is Hiring a Director of Finance and Operations Near Hawthorne, NY

Overview

The Director of Finance and Operations at Touro College of Dental Medicine (TCDM) will oversee financial procedures, project timelines, operations, and business developments. This role requires a dynamic individual capable of optimizing growth and revenue strategies, developing actionable plans aligned with institutional objectives, and fostering a highly inclusive culture. The Director will report to the Dean and work closely with Senior Leadership to ensure the efficient functioning of TCDM.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Financial Procedures and Organizational Policies:
    • Implement financial procedures and organizational policies aligned with institutional goals.
  • Operational Oversight
    • Oversee day-to-day operations to ensure efficiency and alignment with institutional goals.
    • Implement improved processes and new technologies in collaboration with the Dean and Senior Leadership.
  • Budget Development and Oversight:
    • Develop and manage budgets to ensure financial stability.
    • Monitor and analyze clinical and other revenue streams, offering recommendations for optimization.
  • Strategic Planning
    • Develop actionable strategies and plans aligned with the short- and long-term objectives of TCDM.
    • Collaborate with the Dean and Senior Leadership on strategic decision-making.
  • Employee Management:
    • Strategically manage, organize, and coordinate the hiring of employees.
    • Foster a highly inclusive culture and motivate employees to achieve organizational goals.
  • Qualifications

    Education, Preparation, and Training

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, or related field required
    • Masters of Business Administration, Accounting, or related field preferred.
    • 5-10 years of proven experience in operations and strategic planning roles, preferably in an healthcare setting, academic, or non-profit required.
    • Familiarity with healthcare education and industry practices preferred.

    Maximum Salary

    USD $165,000.00/Yr.

    Minimum Salary

    USD $132,000.00/Yr.
