Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Server/Cashier to join our team at Tough Guy Lanes Cafe. As a Server/Cashier, you will play a crucial role in providing excellent customer service and ensuring a smooth dining experience for our guests. Your responsibilities will include taking orders, serving food and beverages, handling cash transactions, and maintaining a clean and organized work area. Responsibilities:
- Greet customers warmly and provide them with menus
- Take accurate food and drink orders from customers
- Relay orders to the kitchen staff and ensure timely delivery of meals
- Serve food and beverages to customers in a prompt and courteous manner
- Handle cash transactions, including processing payments and providing change
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas, including clearing tables and sanitizing surfaces
- Assist with food preparation as needed
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient operations

Requirements:

- Must be at least 16 years of age
- Previous experience in the food service industry is preferred
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle various customer needs and requests
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members
- Basic math skills for cash handling and order accuracy
- Knowledge of point-of-sale systems
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Flexibility to work morning/days, evenings, weekends as needed, and some holidays as required
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 25 pounds
