Touchstone IQ is Hiring a National Account Sales Executive Near Denver, CO

Role Overview

We are seeking an accomplished National Sales Account Executive with 6-10 years of experience specializing in the commercial real estate sector.

You will be responsible for driving revenue through new customer acquisition of large enterprise customers and will own the sales process for prospects interested in purchasing Touchstone IQ’s energy management software products and services.

The ideal candidate possesses a deep understanding of the commercial real estate sector and has established industry connections and a proven track record of exceeding sales targets on a national scale. Nice-to-have experience with software sales or in energy/sustainability field will be highly regarded.

Location: Denver, CO (hybrid position - 3 days in-office; 2 days from home)

Experience Required

Sales Experience

  • 6 years of successful sales experience, with a primary focus on the commercial real estate sector
  • Proven track record of consistently meeting and exceeding enterprise-level sales target
  • Experience closing deals $100 K strongly preferred

CRE Industry Knowledge:

  • In-depth understanding of the commercial real estate market, including key players, market trends, and industry needs/challenges

CRE Established Relationships

  • Well-established industry connections and a robust network within the commercial real estate sector

Strategic Thinking

  • Strong strategic thinker able to define and execute a sales plan to target ideal commercial real estate and enterprise-level customers

Communication Skills

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to quickly learn and articulate technical concepts (i.e. energy benchmarking, building performance standards, ESG, etc.) and SaaS products

Results-Driven

  • Demonstrated ability to independently drive growth and achieve measurable results

Nice-to-Have Experience

  • Experience selling B2B software solutions or with energy/sustainability field would be highly advantageous

Key Job Responsibilities

Sales Strategy & Execution

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed enterprise-level revenue goals
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the commercial real estate sector
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers
  • Understand clients’ unique needs/objectives to provide tailored presentations and solutions
  • Lead proposal and RFP development for enterprise-level prospects

Market Analysis

  • Stay abreast of energy regulatory and CRE trends, market dynamics, and the competitive landscape
  • Conduct market analysis to identify prime prospects and potential growth areas

Reporting & Forecasting

  • Provide regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and customer feedback
  • Develop accurate sales forecasts and contribute to overall business planning
  • Keep HubSpot up-to-date with all information

Collaboration

  • Work closely with Touchstone IQ senior leadership, the broader sales team, account management, and engineering to ensure a superior customer experience

Compensation

Compensation is dependent on experience with a base salary starting at $100,000 plus competitive sales-based commission. Additional benefits include healthcare and dental insurance, parental leave, a Denver RTD EcoPass, a hybrid work schedule, paid holidays, vacation and sick days as well as a matching 401K package.
