As a Tax Accountant in our practice, you will prepare for and aid in client meetings related to tax planning opportunities and the tax implications of transactions to the client. You will review and prepare tax returns for our clients.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Perform and help with complex individual, business, and trust tax returns.
• Work closely with the financial advisor.
• Manage multiple client engagements concurrently with various teams to efficiently meet client deadlines.
• Providing tax recommendations
• Researching and analyzing tax solutions
• Cultivate strong client relationships and stay up to date with tax regulations and accounting research.

Qualifications

• CPA Certification or a commitment to obtaining a CPA License or Enrolled Agent status.
• Experience working on individual tax returns where the client has non-qualified investments.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in work.
• Ability to meet deadlines.
• Knowledge of stocks, bonds, ETF’s and mutual fund markets.
• Problem-solving skills.
• Strong research abilities.
