Touching Hearts at Home - Omaha is currently seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our home care team as Home Health Aides and Caregivers. In this role, you will provide assistance to seniors and individuals with disabilities in the comfort of their own homes. Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with daily tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Maintain a safe and comfortable living environment for clients
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
- Assist with light housekeeping and meal preparation
- Monitor clients' health and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate parties
- Adhere to all care plans and follow medication schedules
- Complete all required documentation accurately and timely
Requirements:
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in home care or a related field preferred
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
- Excellent communication skills
- Compassionate and patient personality
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to undergo additional training and education as needed
