Our mission is to empower older adults to age in place and avoid hospitalization. To accomplish this, we provide companion-level (non-medical) care to seniors throughout the Omaha Metro Area. The role of the Dementia Experienced Companionship Caregiver would be providing one-on-one support for elders with dementia in their homes through companionship, housekeeping, meal preparation, shopping and transportation. You must be able to maintain conversations with our dementia patients, redirect them as needed, and understand how the mind of a dementia patient works.

No certification is required. Job requirements include:

• Previous experience with dementia patients
• Personal or professional experience that shows a heart for senior care
• A valid driver's license
• The ability to provide a reliable, insured vehicle to use on the client's behalf for all scheduled shifts and to travel within the Omaha Metro for any scheduled shifts
• The ability to lift, push, and pull up to 25 pounds
• Daily access to email, the internet, and a mobile phone
• We are a drug free workplace and complete a post-offer criminal background and driving record check before hiring.
