Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Bartender to join our team and consider us as your family more than an employer. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service and creating a welcoming atmosphere for patrons.
Duties:
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages following standard recipes
- Interact with customers, take orders, and provide recommendations
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar area and equipment
- Check customers' identification to verify legal drinking age
- Handle cash transactions and operate the cash register
- Upsell additional products when appropriate
Skills:
- Sales experience to promote drink specials and upsell products
- Proficiency in food handling practices to ensure safety and cleanliness
- Previous experience in a restaurant setting preferred
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently
- Basic math skills for handling payments and making change
- Excellent customer service skills to engage with patrons effectively
- Familiarity with SpotOn POS system is a plus
- Hospitality mindset to create a positive experience for guests
- Knowledge of food safety regulations to maintain a hygienic environment
