- Collaborate with product managers, backend engineers, test automation engineers, UX designers, and scrum masters to continuously improve functionality enhancing our customer experience.
- Participate in roadmap and planning sessions, backlog refinement, product demos, and other agile ceremonies, to develop a strong understanding of Promotions, Loyalty and Personalization platforms from both an architecture and a functional perspective.
- Develop modular frontend web and mobile applications.
- Develop and update the shared component libraries that enable our teams to iterate quickly.
- Write performant, maintainable, and testable code.
- Mentor and coach mid-level and junior-level developers.
- Using a mobile-first mentality, translate functional requirements into responsive components and pages.
- Champion accessibility best practices.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, identify, and resolve production issues.
- Willingness and agility to learn new technologies and adapt to and drive change.
- Embody a strong sense of ownership when working in complex cross-team/cross-platform initiatives.
- Provide solutions to overcome challenges and avoid risks with minimal oversight/guidance.
- Have fun in a close knit ‘team is family’ type of environment.
- 4-5 years as an experienced developer working with established production environments.
- 4 years of experience of React or React Native, especially function components capitalizing on hooks.
- 4 years of production software development using Javascript ES6, HTML 5, CSS 3.
- 1 years of experience with statically typed language (Go, C, C , Rust, etc).
- Familiarity with serverside rendering (SSR), asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and RESTful APIs.
- Experience with manual and automation testing for mobile application using various testing methodologies and tools.
- Experience evaluating additional test cases for inclusion in regression and automation and developing tools to optimize test duration and quality.
- Solid coding practices including regular code reviews, documentation, and version control.
- Passion for keeping up to speed with the latest software tools and methodologies.
- Intellectual curiosity and strong problem-solving skills that bring discipline and analytical thinking to user stories, requirements, and user flows.
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
- Preference for agile development and familiarity with its tools like Jira.
