Total Spine & Wellness is Hiring a Front Desk Receptionist Near Melbourne, FL

FRONT DESK RECEPTIONIST: Total Spine & Orthopedics is a leading spine and orthopedic practice committed to delivering the highest standard of patient care. Our practice is locally owned and operates across Melbourne, Orlando, and Titusville, specializing in a comprehensive range of orthopedic and spine conditions. We focus on interventional pain management, regenerative orthobiologics and minimally invasive surgery to diagnose, treat, and manage these conditions.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Welcome patients and visitors
  • Check patients in and out
  • Answer incoming calls and inquiries
  • Verify insurance benefits
  • Collect patient copays
  • Notify Medical Assistant of patient arrival
  • Create, organize and manage patient's charts
  • Update patient records and insurance
  • Schedule and confirm patient appointments
  • Explain intake forms to new patients
  • Fax, scan and file documents

Requirements:

  • Familiar with EMR systems
  • Excellent documentation, communication, and computer skills
  • Proficient with Office 365
  • Has a positive, friendly and caring attitude towards patients and staff
  • Possess a strong work ethic and a high level of professionalism
  • Organized and able to manage time efficiently
  • Possess the ability to work productively, either independently or with other individuals
  • Ability to effectively communicate to staff and patients
  • Bilingual a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.73 - $18.95 per hour
