Position Description

Family-owned lawncare company is looking for afull-time Landscape Laborer for immediate full-time work. The ideal candidatewill be responsible for applying fertilizers,maintaining landscape design integrity by removing weeds or dead plants fromthe property and caring for existing landscape.

Ultimately, you willensure that the lawns and gardens are properly maintained throughout the year.

Responsibilitiesinclude but not limited to:

• Mow, edge, and trim turf areas, using powered and hand tools
• Prune and trim trees, shrubs, and hedges
• Plant, cultivate, and maintain vegetation such as flowers, trees, shrubs, and hedges
• Dig, spread, and level soil using shovels, rakes, and other hand tools
• Water and fertilize lawns and plants
• Clear debris and remove waste from landscaping areas
• Install landscape edging and borders
• Install hardscapes such as patios, walkways, and retaining walls
• Keep pedestrian areas removed of snow and ice
• Operate snow blowers or other equipment as needed
• Perform routine maintenance on landscaping equipment

Requirements andskills

• Previous work experience as a Landscaper Laborer or similar role is beneficial but not necessary
• Must be able to operate and maintain equipment, including lawnmowers, leaf blowers, and hedge trimmers
• Strong knowledge of basic lawn maintenance preferred, not required
• High attention to detail with organizational skills
• Good stamina and physical health to work outdoors for extended periods in various seasons
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Payrate is based on experience
