Responsibilities:

• Assist the dentist during dental procedures
• Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment
• Take dental x-rays
• Maintain patient records
• Take and record vital signs of patients
• Provide patient education on post-operative care
• Maintain a clean and organized dental operator
• Follow aseptic techniques to prevent the spread of infection
• Adhere to HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality

Experience:

• Steady work history is required - At least 3 references are required and will be checked
• 1 year previous experience as a Registered Dental Assistant is required
• Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and Dentrix systems is required
• Radiology certification is required- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
