Total Mechanical is Hiring a Tool Room Coordinator Near Milwaukee, WI
As a Tool Room Coordinator, you are responsible for assisting with the maintenance and storage of the Company’s tools, warehouse equipment, and materials.
Starting pay of $20/hour
Shift: 6AM – 2PM (Monday – Friday)
Your responsibilities include:
- Inventory
- Monitor tool possession and use through the tool management program.
- Small tool assembly and repair.
- Keep materials organized and accessible.
- Tool Delivery/Charges
- Coordinate tool delivery or transfer with material/equipment devices.
- Maintaining the system of charging tool rental to GMP projects.
- Shipping/Receiving
- Assist with the receipt of materials, tools equipment, and supplies; unpacking, examining, and routing incoming shipments.
- Returning damaged items, recording shortages, and corresponding with shipper to rectify damages and shortages.
- Truck Activity
- Loading and unloading of all work vehicles.
- Periodically take truck material and tool inventories.
- Small truck deliveries.
- Other duties as assigned by management.
You will bring to the position:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 1-2 years in a warehouse environment/machine shop/fabrication shop required.
- Valid driver’s license, satisfactory driving record.
- Ability to perform job responsibilities in an industrial, construction site, and general outdoor environment around heavy machinery and equipment.
- Ability to make commitments and be willing to be held accountable against them.
- Ensure customer satisfaction by delivering excellence in products and service.
