Licensed Pharmacy Technician (Can speak Spanish fluently).
Retail Community Pharmacy located in Santa Ana, CA is accepting applications for a full-time or part-time bilingual Spanish/English licensed pharmacy technician who can multitask and possess great customer service skills.

Below are job descriptions for pharmacy technicians:
Job Duties:
  • Greet patients and healthcare providers in person and by phone; answer questions and requests; refer inquiries to the pharmacist.
  • Maintained pharmacy inventory by checking pharmaceutical stock to determine inventory level; anticipated needed medications and supplies; placed and expedited orders; verified receipts; removed outdated drugs.
  • Maintain a safe and clean pharmacy by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
  • Maintain proper storage and security conditions for drugs.
  • Protect patients and employees by adhering to infection-control policies and procedures.
  • Organize medications for the pharmacist to dispense by reading the medication orders and prescriptions; preparing labels; calculating quantities; assemble intravenous solutions and other pharmaceutical therapies.
  • Maintain records by recording and filing physicians’ orders and prescriptions.
  • Generate revenues by calculating, recording, and issuing charges.
  • Ensures medication availability by delivering medications to patients and departments.
  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
