Description

JOB OVERVIEW

As a Service Solutions Consultant for Total Industries, you have two primary responsibilities within your assigned territory: promote, protect, and penetrate assigned top accounts, and seek and acquire target competitive accounts. The service solutions consultant acts as the primary customer contact working closely with their Equipment Sales peers, Service Advisors, Technicians, Parts, Rental and Accounting staff, to ensure overall customer satisfaction while meeting and exceeding their personal sales goals. The most successful candidate will love the thrill of hunting new business just as much as satisfying and growing existing customer relationships through regular contact and business meetings.

JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

Sales

  • Farm assigned target accounts/territory using cold calls, direct mailing, telemarketing, lead follow-up and referrals.
  • Sell Planned Maintenance (PM) contracts on a variety of industrial and warehouse equipment.
  • Sell Equipment rentals 12 months per year.
  • Sell operator safety training classes.
  • Partner with other solutions specialists to sell across the Total Industries product line.

Relationship Management

  • Conduct regular business meetings to survey customer satisfaction and align solutions with customer needs and wants.
  • Serve as company lead in managing and mitigating any customer issue raised during business meetings.
  • Explain planned maintenance, full maintenance, and other services available to potential service customers.
  • Answer customer questions regarding operation safety issues and maintenance intervals.
  • Coordinate with the customer and company Service Advisor the commencement of 1st time service.
  • Advise customer if service is to be performed C.O.D. and arrange for payment at time of service.

Administration

  • Submit credit applications and verify with TMHNC Accounting Department that customer account is approved.
  • Maintain customer records within designated TMHNC CRM system, including customer contact information, quotes, sales, forecasts, and reporting.
  • Work with customers per the Toyota Delivery Experience Program.
  • Stay up to date on E-Learning training and overall product knowledge.
  • Various other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS:

Required

  • 2 years outside sales experience.
  • 2 years customer service experience.
  • 2 years working with a CRM and managing a sales funnel.
  • Super-organized, determined, and confident.
  • Ability to speak with confidence and professionalism. 
  • Professional and neat appearance.
  • Willingness to invest time for continuing education in sales, industry knowledge, computer skills, interpersonal communication, and general business training.
  • Ability to use a computer, with experience using Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Reliable personal vehicle and/or willingness to participate in company leased vehicle program. 
  • Complete drug screen, background check and DMV record pull.

Desired

  • Sales or Customer Service experience in material handling related field.
  • Bachelor’s Degree.
  • Forklift Operator Certification.
