Job Summary:

We are seeking an optician with billing and coding experience, as well as the ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting patients in selecting and fitting eyewear, interpreting prescriptions written by optometrists or ophthalmologists, and providing exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities:

- Assist patients in selecting eyewear that suits their style and vision needs
- Interpret optical prescriptions written by eye care providers
- Take accurate facial measurements to ensure correct fit and positioning of eyewear
- Educate patients on proper eyewear care and maintenance
- Adjust and repair eyewear as needed
- Maintain inventory of frames, lenses, and contact lenses
- Process orders for eyewear and contact lenses

Qualifications:

- Previous experience as an Optician or in a similar role
- Knowledge of billing and coding

Join our team as an Optician to provide exceptional eye care services while helping patients achieve optimal vision health.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
