They are currently recruiting for an STC Programs Administrator job in Phoenix, AZ.

What Is In It For You

Salary: $90,000 - $115,000 DOE

A Day In The Life of an STC Programs Administrator

The position you are applying for is the company's point of contact for developing, certifying, and fielding new and existing STCs (Supplement Type Certificates). These programs are an improvement or upgrade items designed to enhance the operational abilities of selected aircraft. You will report to the Director of Technical Services but often work with vendors and other company departments to support the project. 

Essential Duties of The STC Programs Administrator

  • Oversee all Company STC development projects
  • Works as a liaison between company, engineering, and certification vendors
  • Ensures all timelines and action items are submitted on time
  • Works hands-on with aircraft for measurements and specifications
  • Assists company sales departments with features and marketing development
  • Helps in setting up of supply chain to support STC products
  • Provides technical support to owners and installation facilities
  • May require some travel

Physical Requirements:

  •  This work requires the following physical activities.
  •  Occasional lifting up to 50 pounds.
  •  Working inside aircraft hangars, on the flight line, and inside a variety of aircraft.

Environmental Conditions:

  • Industrial/Hangar and flight line environment.
  • Minimum Education Requirement:
  • Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) Certificate
  • Inspection Authorization (IA) Certificate, preferred
  • Must have High School Diploma or GED
  • Strong understanding of 145 repair station operations/regulations required

Minimum Work Experience Requirement:

  •  3-5 years working in an MRO setting
  •  Willing to work off location, weekends, and overtime as needed
  •  Prior programming experience.
  •  Prior engineering experience.

Qualifications/Special Skills and Certifications:

  • Excellent Skill Sets with electrical system troubleshooting
  • Excellent skill sets with reading and interpreting aircraft drawings and wiring diagrams.
  • Sheet metal skills are a plus but not required.
  • Results-oriented Proven ability to achieve goals. Follows through and meets deadlines;
  • Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and time management skills; Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Communication Oral Communication speaks clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations; Listens and gets clarification; Responds well to questions;
  • Participates in meetings. Written Communication. Writes material in clear, concise terms.
