Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced 2nd shift welder to work out of our Milwaukee Service Center. The employee will be responsible for performing setup and all position welding on a diversified line of parts requiring close tolerances and irregular angles and shapes in accordance with code certification, alignment, dimensional, and general inspection requirements. The work includes all types of material such as steel, aluminum, stainless, bronzes, copper and stellite hard facing. The employee will be working from engineering drawings and job layouts as well as using a scale, tape measure, square, protractor, templates, and gauges to accurately measure and verify quality of work.

The employee must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include Close vision, Distance vision and Ability to adjust focus. While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to sit and talk and hear. The employee is frequently required to walk. The employee is occasionally required to stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms.
Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to work near moving mechanical parts, fumes, or airborne particles, and toxic or caustic chemicals. The employee is occasionally exposed to work in high, precarious places, and risk of shock. The employee is occasionally exposed to extreme heat, extreme cold and wet, humid conditions. The noise level in the work environment is frequently loud.
