Under the supervision of the Emergency Communications Director and 911 Supervisors, 911 dispatchers must respond to emergency and non-emergency calls for assistance and information. Perform Emergency Medical Dispatch (EMD), including ask vital questions and provide pre-arrival instructions for emergency medical calls. Monitor and operate a radio console and computer equipment. Input all calls for service, both emergency and non-emergency, into the Computer-Aided Dispatch System (CAD).
