OVERVIEW: The Inventory Control Analyst is responsible for supporting company Operations by maintaining accurate inventory and overall stocking levels of finished goods, raw material and packaging. Assists in the analysis of transactional data to ensure the information is correct and makes adjustments when necessary.
MAJOR ACTIVITIES PERFORMED:
1. Provide daily cycle counts to Finished Goods & Raw Materials.
2. Maintain a tracking log of all count requests and prioritize these counts in order of importance to be determined by business needs.
3. Respond and follow up to all team members on the results of the counts requested and log the results on the appropriate tracker. Assist Warehouse in location of Inventory.
4. Analyze the cycle count results and review transactional data in all key company systems and inventory databases to identify if there are transactions missing that need to be added to correct the overall inventory levels between each system.
5. Plan and execute scheduled cycle counts at the direction of the Inventory Control department Supervisor. Compare these counts to known inventory quantities and report on overall inventory accuracy.
6. Work with the departmental supervisor to suggest and develop other tools and reports that may be needed to better maintain overall inventory accuracy and control.
7. Ability to recognize deficiencies, make recommendations for corrections, and actively work to implement those corrections at the direction of the departmental manager.
8. Adhere to the concept of team, aligning to and supporting the company’s goals and sharing knowledge
9. Compliance to GMP, Food Safety, Food Defense and Food Quality regulations as required by the company, customers and/or government legislations, including timely communication to appropriate facility management of any non-conformity issues or violations found

11. Performs other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum: High school diploma/general education degree (GED) or equivalent experience; Two or more year’s prior experience in Inventory Control; Ability to work overtime, holidays and weekends as needed. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications required. Experience performing transactional analysis and research. Strong communication skills: ability to communicate in English orally and in writing with vendors, customers and co-workers.
Preferred: Minimum qualifications, Bilingual Spanish very helpful.
General Information: In order to perform the essential job functions of this position candidate must have knowledge of inventory control systems in Epicor or similar systems; be able to compose/write descriptive reports in Microsoft Office and Excel; successfully complete mandated training courses.
Knowledge Required: Knowledge of methods needed to read, comprehend, interpret, communicate and execute instructions or directives fluently in English.
