Part-Time pharmacy technician needed ASAP. We are pharmacy located inside of medical building adjacent to Torrance Memorial Hospital. We are looking for a certified and experienced pharmacy technician to join our team ASAP.

MUST
- Minimum of 2-3 years of work experience in a fast paced pharmacy.

- Live locally

- Have a drivers license and own a car

Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Certified Pharmacy Technician to join our team.

Responsibilities:

- Prepare medications for dispensing under the supervision of a pharmacist
- Utilize knowledge of pharmacy practices and procedures to assist in the delivery of patient care
- Maintain pharmacy inventory by checking pharmaceutical stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed medications and supplies
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and pharmacy policies
- Provide excellent customer service to patients and healthcare providers
- Assist in the preparation of sterile products using aseptic technique

Skills:

The successful candidate should have the following skills:

- Proficiency in medication administration
- Strong understanding of pharmacy operations
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of patient care practices within a hospital setting
- Familiarity with inhale medications and their administration
