Torch Technologies is Hiring a Remote Radar Systems Analyst
Torch Technologies is seeking a skilled Radar Systems Analyst to join our advanced air and missile defense simulation team. Candidates should have a strong background in radar systems analysis and must be familiar with the Java programming language. Candidates should also be familiar with the C/C programming languages. Experience with Python and/or MATLAB tool development for data analysis is required. Experience in software Verification and Validation (V&V) process is desired. Qualified applicants will have excellent analysis skills and be able to work independently, and as part of a software development and analysis team to support V&V of missile defense system component simulations. Specifically, successful candidate will support V&V of advanced radar simulation developed primarily in Java. Tasks will include code reviews and algorithm assessments of simulation components, as well as tool development and analysis to support data anchoring activities based on tactical and Hardware-in-the-loop (HWIL) data comparisons. Candidate will also support generation of V&V data analysis products and documentation to support overall simulation accreditation activities.
Job Requirements:- B.S. degree in Engineering, Computer Science or other STEM degree from an ABET accredited college or university
- 5-8 years of radar simulation analysis experience
- Excellent written and oral communications skills
- Ability to understand Java code, with some experience in C/C and MATLAB and/or Python
- Familiarity with Fortran language is a plus
- Position requires the candidate meet requirements to obtain a final security clearance in order to access classified information. Inability to obtain a security clearance will result in candidate being ineligible for the position
