Torch Technologies is Hiring a Program Planner/ Scheduler Near Huntsville, AL

Job Description:

Torch Technologies is seeking a Scheduler to develop the Command, Control, and Effects (C2E) program’s Integrated Master Plan (IMP) and Schedule (IMS) to ensure that all activities, events, and milestones are logically linked and fully resourced, supported by analysis such as critical path, schedule risk, and variance analysis. The Planner/Scheduler works closely with the Functional Area (FA) Team Leads and Assistant Program Manager’s (APM’s), Product Lead and Deputy Product Lead to ensure alignment and integration of the IMS with other key program plans and schedules. This position is located in Huntsville, AL.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in negotiating transitions between FAs regarding technical content and schedules as well as facilitating workaround planning as required.
  • Produce and brief task completion progress reports to the PM, PdM, internal team members, PM UAS leadership showing progress against the established IMS.
  • Lead the integration of supplier and partner plans and schedules into the IMS to ensure the whole team is operating to the same rhythm, priorities, and metrics to provide visibility and communicate potential issues to management and engineering.
Job Requirements:

Qualifications:

  • BS/BA degree preferred; 5 years of experience working with MS Project and SharePoint in a technical discipline.
  • Professional experience using Microsoft Office applications to include Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Project, and Word is required.
  • Experience developing and managing Integrated Master Plans/Schedules in MS Project is required.
  • Candidate must possess strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Must be a self-starter that thrives in a dynamic team environment.
  • Candidate must possess a proven ability to develop and provide reports to management.
  • US Citizenship is required.
  • Active DoD Secret security clearance and the ability to maintain such is required.
