Position Overview 

We are excited to offer a Data Science Internship at our innovative company for Summer 2024. This role is perfect for students pursuing a career in data science who are eager to apply their academic knowledge to real-world data challenges. As a Data Science Intern, you will work alongside experienced professionals, gaining first-hand experience in data analysis, machine learning, and predictive modeling.

Key Responsibilities 

During your internship, you will… 

• Assist in the development and refinement of machine learning models. 

• Perform data analysis to uncover trends, patterns, and insights. 

• Work with large datasets to prepare and clean data for analysis. 

• Support the team in implementing data science solutions. 

• Collaborate with other departments to understand their data needs and provide solutions. 

• Present findings and recommendations to the team and stakeholders. 

• Learn and apply best practices in data security and privacy. 

Qualifications 

• Currently enrolled in an accredited university pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field. 

• Strong analytical skills with a solid foundation in statistical analysis. 

• Experience with programming languages such as Python or R. 

• Experience working in SQL. 

• Familiarity with data visualization tools and machine learning algorithms. 

• Excellent problem-solving skills and keen attention to detail. 

• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team. 

Requirements 

• US Citizen. 

• At least 18 years old. 

• Actively enrolled as an undergraduate or graduate student in an accredited educational institution. 

• In good academic standing with a grade point average of 3.0. 

• Commitment to a full-time schedule during the internship period.
