Torch is seeking a Concept Analyst with subject matter expertise in Joint Warfare Concept Development and a basic understanding of Counter – small Unmanned Aircraft Systems (C-sUAS) to support the Joint Counter-small Unmanned Aircraft Systems Office (JCO). The Concept Analyst will support the JCO Director, Deputy Director, Strategy & Policy Division Chief and other team member actions as a focal point for the JCO regarding C-sUAS warfighting concept development. The Concept Analyst will support C-sUAS warfighting concept development and integration for potential advancement into joint doctrine.

Duties will include:

• Support C-sUAS Wargaming to develop and refine C-sUAS warfighting concepts.
• Develop and shape C-sUAS warfighting concepts for future incorporation into joint doctrine.
• Generate wargaming scenarios to best evaluate C-sUAS warfighting concepts.
• Attend wargaming events to observe effects of sUAS and C-sUAS on the strategic and operational situation.
• Coordinate with the Joint Staff and Military Services to integrate C-sUAS into wargaming events.
• Work with the Joint Staff and Military Services to develop C-sUAS warfighting concepts. 
• Execute staff actions and assigned taskings to support JCO warfighting concept development.
• Prepares written products (reports, info papers, presentations, and executive summaries) to shape and defend JCO positions; prepare and present briefings to leadership and stakeholders.
• Represent the JCO in C-sUAS concept development forums to advocate for JCO positions.
• Respond to requests for information from C-sUAS stakeholders.

• Secret level security clearance is required, Top Secret preferred
• Bachelor’s Degree required, Master’s Degree preferred
• 10-15 years of related work experience
• Must have a basic understanding of the Counter Unmanned Aircraft Systems (C-UAS) mission
• Senior Military Staff wargaming and/or doctrine development experience
