Caskey Torah Academy of Greater Philadelphia seeks a full-time reading specialist skilled at remedial reading instruction at the elementary level for the 2024-25 school year.
Responsibilities :
Provide remedial reading instruction in small-group setting utilizing research-based methods of instruction and intervention for elementary students, primarily grades 1-3
Collaborate with classroom teachers and administrators regarding lesson plans and student progress
Communicate effectively with parents regarding student progress via phone, email, parent-teacher conferences, and report cards
Attend grade-level team meetings and perform all assigned faculty duties
Qualifications :
Reading Specialist certification, required
Certification in Elementary Education or Early Childhood Education (Pre-K-4)
Training in Wilson Reading System or Wilson Fundations, preferred
